It turns out that the Bush Administration overestimated the deficit for the last budget passed in the Republican Congress. We have record revenues, but Democrats continue to insist the problem is the Bush Tax Cuts. If we have record revenues, our problem is that we spend too much money. (Hat Tip: Captain's Quarters)

- The Adoption Tax Credit has helped many Americans adopt children, but it's set to expire and the Democratic Congress has refused to make it permenent. So let's get this straight, the liberals want abortion to be safe, legal, and rare, but they refuse to support regulations that make it more safe (parental consent/notification, requirements for surgical standards where the abortion is performed) or rarer (24 Hour Waiting Period), or things that promote adoption (such as the "Choose Life" license plates and the Adoption Tax Credit.) So, anyone want to argue that it's more than empty rhetoric?
